Hair Care Guide
With proper maintenance, our extensions can last anywhere between 3 to 5 years. Please follow our recommended methods to keep your Kmluxecollection bundles looking fresh and flawless with every wear.
Shampoo & Condition
To maintain the quality of your bundles, wash them every 2–3 weeks with a sulfate and paraben-free shampoo and conditioner. Extending the time between washes beyond a month may lead to matting and product buildup.
Deep Condition
For additional care, apply a sulfate and paraben-free deep conditioning mask and leave it on for 12–24 hours to restore softness and smoothness. Avoid applying conditioner directly to the knots of your closure or frontal, as this can weaken the strands and cause shedding. Instead, apply it about an inch away from the knots, focusing on areas with product buildup.
Brush
Gently brush through the hair using a paddle brush or detangling brush, working from root to tip to minimise hair loss.
Avoid Excessive Heat
To maintain the health of your hair, minimise the use of high heat. Always apply a heat protectant before using styling tools like flat irons or blow dryers.
Prevent Shedding
To minimise shedding, avoid cutting your tracks.
Shine Serums & Hair Oils
To keep your bundles nourished and shiny, add hair oils and shine serums to your routine. Use sparingly to prevent a greasy look, which can weigh down the hair. For best results, apply a small amount from mid-length to ends, avoiding the roots.
